DevBlog - First Build on Windows

Hello fellow developers and gamers!

We are excited to share the progress of our first build on Windows. In this devlog, we will highlight two key features that have been implemented: the Main Menu, item interaction using the left mouse button (Mouse1), and object throwing using the "R" button.

  1. Main Menu We have added a fully functional main menu to enhance the user experience. By pressing the Tab key, players can now access the main menu, where they can navigate through various game options, adjust settings, and explore additional features. The main menu serves as a central hub for players to customize their gameplay experience.

  2. Item Interaction We have implemented a seamless item interaction system to enhance player immersion. By clicking the left mouse button (Mouse1), players can now pick up items within the game environment. As the player's character approaches an item of interest, a simple click will attach the item to the player. This feature adds depth to the gameplay by allowing players to interact with and manipulate objects within the game world.

  3. Object Throwing To further expand the possibilities of item interaction, we have included object throwing functionality. By pressing the "R" button, players can throw the currently held item. Once the button is pressed, the item will be launched forward with a realistic physics simulation. This feature gives players the ability to experiment with the game environment, solve puzzles, or overcome obstacles creatively.

We are thrilled with the progress we have made in our first build on Windows. The implementation of the main menu, item interaction, and object throwing showcases our commitment to creating an immersive and engaging gaming experience.

Stay tuned for future devlogs as we continue to refine and expand upon these features, as well as introduce new content and gameplay mechanics.

Thank you for your support, and we look forward to sharing more updates with you soon!
